Brief CV of Dr. Florian Wegelein:

Dr. Florian Wegelein studied German, European and International law at the Universities of Hamburg, Constance, Cardiff and Seattle, received his Doctorate in 2005 from Hamburg University, worked as a Lecturer at Law at the Ivane Javakhishvili State University in Tbilisi/Georgia from 2002-2004. From 2005 until 2011 he practiced law at the lawfirm Werle & Dr. Kirchhof in Breme specialising in transport and forwarding law. In 2012, he briefly conducted insurance fraud investigations at the Allianz Insurance Co, Berlin. Since November 2012, he has been Legal Affairs Advisor at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin; his responsibilities there encompass review and negotiation of national and international research contracts, supervise PhD regulation and cooperation agreements (cotutelle), and consult with administrators and scientists on research related legal affairs.
